Process Safety Specialist

We are looking for an experienced Process Safety Specialist to support and enhance Process Safety Management programs, identify and mitigate process hazards, and ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate process safety requirements. The role will be responsible for leading process safety initiatives, facilitating risk assessments, supporting Management of Change (MOC) activities, investigating incidents, and driving continuous improvement to protect people, assets, and the environment.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Process Safety, Process Engineering, or Process Safety Management within Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refining, LNG, or Chemical industries.
• Hands-on experience with PSM programs, risk assessments, and process safety systems.
• Knowledge of OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM) standards is required.
• Experience facilitating HAZOP, PHA, LOPA, and MOC activities.
• Experience conducting incident investigations and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Strong knowledge of industry regulations, standards, and best practices related to process safety.

• Experience conducting process safety audits and compliance assessments.

• Ability to work effectively with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, and HSE teams.
• Strong commitment to safety, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.
• Ability to drive continuous improvement and process safety culture initiatives.
• Prepare and contribute to the timely and accurate preparation of reports.
